How we work? While companies using porous carbon can choose from a wide range of off-the-shelf commodity products, Y-Carbon offers a new option: carbons whose properties are rapidly tuned for a specific application. We are interested in partnering with end-users to develop carbons specifically tailored to meet their needs. Normally, when developing materials for a new application we will begin by thoroughly studying the underlying technology and the key materials properties required. Once we have an understanding of the materials properties required, we can provide several materials for evaluation. Based on the results of this evaluation, we can provide additional samples to further optimize our material's performance for your application. This process has resulted in materials significantly outperforming the state-of-the-art in a number of applications, and has already provided us with significant business development. |

Option for business development...
Y-Carbon offers materials for sale in spot purchases for a given application based on delivery scheduling and pricing. Carbon powders, granules, and electrodes are available. In addition, we will consider exclusive/restricted sales agreements in which we provide exclusive rights for the use of our material for a specific application over a defined time period.
