SoftCarbX is virgin granular activated carbon (GAC) media for use in water softener. SoftCarbX is coconut shell grade activated carbon and is effective for removing chlorine, radon, and volatile organic compounds including toluene, benzene, xylenes and more. Our GAC media is available in 12 x 40, 8 x 30 and 4 x 10 mesh sizes. Our GAC filter media also removes chloramines and hydrogen sulfide.
